SCHENECTADY - If a bowler is going to win one tournament, why not do it on live television and in the event offering the biggest first-place prize?

Mark Taylor, winless in area singles tournaments in 3( years as an Albany resident, broke through Sunday at Boulevard Bowl. Taylor defeated veteran regional pro John Walther III 214-206 in the final of the Jack Scaccia Memorial, the season-ending tournament of the Huck Finn/Northeast Bowling Proprietors of New York tour.
